Bag om The Woman Your Mother Warned You About
Julia just found out that her daughter Jody is getting married. They're coming to spend the summer with the family and plan the wedding. Great right? She's even okay with the fact that, surprise, she's marrying a woman. When she actually meets her though, Julia has a few misgivings. The woman is only four years younger than Julia herself. She does not believe or practice monogamy. She's got a long criminal history including a conviction for statutory rape that made national news. Her body is covered in tattoos and piercings and her friends are hooligans who look like they escaped from a circus. And all of that is just for starters. She's the woman every mother warns her children to stay away from. Is she really that horrible? Or does she have something hidden deep down that might make her worthy of Jody? Not that it matters because Jody is in love, knows all about her lover's past, and intends to marry her anyway. What is a mother supposed to do when her daughter brings home what she and everyone she knows considers the worst possible match? What can she do?
