When will God's people be sealed and how? The letter to the Hebrews mentions the New Covenant Promise twice. What is it, and when will it happen? It's the complete fulfillment of the New Covenant promise of God in Jeremiah 31:31-34. The letter to the Hebrews was written to inform us of God's promise, which up to the time of Paul, God's faithful believers had "received not the promise." In Hebrews it was necessary for Paul to go through the sanctuary service showing that Christ is fully God and man, Our High Priest who died for us; He is now working for the saving of our souls and the "perfecting of the saints."
