Tragedy - Sabah Michael Yacoub - Bog

- How Often and How Much? ( Poetry Quartets )

Bag om Tragedy

The historical human being has practiced evil deeds since the soles of his feet touched the surface of earth, and has led himself to variable degrees of sinning ranging from venial to mortal sins. How often a husband betrayed his wife and a wife abandoned her husband?. How often the majority of people strove for the welfare of a small number?. How often a human soul has been killed because of disagreement in principle, creed, belief, or doctrine, and even a difference of opinion or position, or one ruler takes power to push the sectors of his people to the abyss?. How often does a church group exploit the religion for personal gain, and there are those who leave their denomination to another one for the same goal?. How often have Christians, Sabians, Yazidis, and Jews been persecuted in predominantly Muslim countries, or have enacted laws that take away rights from minorities to strengthen the power of the dominant religion?. How often has the flesh of a minor been abused to satisfy the sexual desire of a deviant jihadist?. How often has a woman been sold to extinguish the lust of a man who copulate her without limit?. Despite all the tragic feelings that accompany the human soul through the steps of life journey, there is no doubt that the seeds of goodness lie in the folds of every human being, no matter how severe the instinct of evil is. It is the time now for the conscious and civilized thoughts to work on its development to prevail in troubled societies. This book highlights what has been said above, in addition to many aspects of life with tragic dimensions framed in poetry quartets. Each quartet illustrates the type of tragedy that is inflicted by certain human nature.
