Avery has made a mess of her life with drugs and bad men. So, she decided to change everything. She booked a flight to Alaska and got a job in Sitka. She was nervous about the plane ride, but she needed to do something. James had lived in Juneau with his wife and son. When they were killed in an accident he retreated to the solitude of the woods. He watched as Avery's plane crashed down. Instinct kicked in and he rushed to rescue her. Now they would be stuck together in his small home until winter was over.
