The Mountain Man Series chronicles the 19th century life of Jeremiah Warner. Tragedy claims his family in the Texas Panhandle when Jeremiah is only eighteen years old. His brief journey of vengeance is told in the first volume of this series: "The Windrider." Two other novels continue to follow his journey: The Wolf Man Warrior and Wilderness Winter. In this fourth volume, he continues to follow the unfolding Destiny that changes the face of the wilderness each season. In the present volume he becomes the Pathfinder, scouting the Oregon Trail through the Rocky Mountain Wilderness.
