Since The Water Door was published, I have been asked why I had included so manyscenes with someone in the family preparing a meal. When I replied that I liked to cookfor my own family, a friend suggested that I do a cookbook for my readers and that thetitle should be What's For Food? just like the family asks each other in the story.
