He quickly becomes disillusioned with the the war and his role in it. As Hollis tells the crew to bail out of their fatally stricken bomber, Sully descends into Occupied France and shatters his leg on landing. The Resistance finds him and reluctantly take him in. His fluency in french makes him an asset. His real war is only beginning.
