But it is also a time for community to come togetherThis year all of that changes, as mosques close to large gatherings, leaving imams and qaris - who are trained in the recitation of the Qur'an - to do what they can with livestreams and Zoom.These poems chronicle the author's journey through Ramadan 2019.
