Body of Water - Ceri Norman - Bog

Recently widowed DI Lucy Weir is hoping for an easy transition back into work, but what she gets is thrown in at the deep end when a body is discovered on the damp, desolate, yet beautiful, mudflats of North East Essex. The clues lead in all directions, to a mugging, to local traffickers and to the nefarious goings on at a local golf course. Lucy must get a grip on her own grief as she leads her team through this quagmire of death and deceit while dealing with the insular nature of the community as she relentlessly pursues the killer.
