Hierzu zahlt auch die Harninkontinenz - eine Erkrankung, die uberwiegend Frauen betrifft und mit vielfaltigen Einschrankungen assoziiert ist. Wichtige PROMs in der Harninkontinenzversorgung sind der Questionnaire for Urinary Incontinence Diagnosis (QUID), der bei der Abgrenzung zwischen Belastungs- und Dranginkontinenz - den beiden haufigsten Inkontinenzformen - unterstutzt, sowie der Incontinence Severity Index (ISI), der auf eine Beurteilung des Schweregrads fokussiert. Gegenstand dieses Buchs ist eine Studie unter 161 inkontinenten Frauen, in der QUID und ISI erstmals ins Deutsche ubersetzt und evaluiert wurden. Im Zentrum stand die Untersuchung klassischer psychometrischer Gutekriterien wie Sensitivitat, Spezifitat, Reliabilitat und Validitat. Im Ergebnis kann der Einsatz beider Fragebogen empfohlen werden. Die maige Spezifitat des QUID bei der Unterscheidung zwischen Belastungs- und Dranginkontinenz ist jedoch zu berucksichtigen.
