""I think Moksha is earned when all your karmas are neutral or null , like when you have left no good deed to perform or no bad deed to bear when you have given everything that you have taken and got everything that you have given , it's like standing in the middle of the seesaw with having nil weight on both sides .""Hypothesis is the book where I let my mind take me where ever it wants, it's a book for those who like to think or talk about life, love, happiness, the universe, and all.I don't have many people around me to make these conversations with, so thru this, I want to talk to you about the things that fascinate me, I am not claiming anything in this to be right or wrong, it's all about what I think and I am waiting eagerly to know what you think. This book gives a sincere yet honest representation of modern nursing in all its forms rather than purely focusing only on the ¿good¿ ¿the funny¿ ¿the sad¿ or the ¿ugly¿. This book provides a collection of stories that concentrate on nursing, that validates, educates and encourages those undertaking a career in nursing. In addition, this book also celebrates the amazing rewards that the unique career of nursing has to offer, for those who can find a way to persevere through the challenges. There is a high rate of burnout among nurses in their early days of practice, because of the high demands placed on them by the healthcare system; hospital administrations; the expectations of management, patients, families and carers; and the sheer size of the patient loads with complex needs these days. The global pandemic erupting has now pushed a health care service that was already under pressure to now be in complete crisis. The world now knows that we need more nurses employed to be able to move forward from this calamity. This book closes that gap in that it encourages the readers to continue to pursue a career in nursing (despite the challenges that the profession holds) while also positively promoting the incredible work that nurses do.The chapters within this book, explore a cornucopia of different aspects of nursing including: caring for dying patients, dealing with bodily fluids and how patients are not very good at working out how sick they really are. The book also covers how to manage the care of patients with complex mental illnesses and those contemplating suicide. This book is targeted at nurses who may feel a little overwhelmed with the world that is nursing but who wish to thrive and further their career. Discussion questions at the end of the book further add to the reflection and learning process of the reader.
In this book, Matej Kohar demonstrates how the new mechanistic account of explanation can be used to support a non-representationalist view of explanations in cognitive neuroscience, and therefore can bring new conceptual tools to the non-representationalist arsenal. Kohar focuses on the explanatory relevance of representational content in constitutive mechanistic explanations typical in cognitive neuroscience. The work significantly contributes to two areas of literature: 1) the debate between representationalism and non-representationalism, and 2) the literature on mechanistic explanation.Kohar begins with an introduction to the mechanistic theory of explanation, focusing on the analysis of mechanistic constitution as the basis of explanatory relevance in constitutive mechanistic explanation. He argues that any viable analysis of representational contents implies that content is not constitutively relevant to cognitive phenomena. The author also addresses objections against his argument and concludes with an examination of the consequences of his account for both traditional cognitive neuroscience and non-representationalist alternatives. This book is of interest to readers in philosophy of mind, cognitive science and neuroscience.

This book has two main tasks: (1) to call attention to the special challenges presented by our experience of affect¿all varieties of pleasure and pain¿and (2) to show how these challenges can be overcome by an ¿enrichment approach¿ that understands affect as the enrichment or deterioration of conscious activity as a whole. This ¿enrichment approach¿ draws from Alfred North Whitehead as well as the pragmatists John Dewey and William James, all of whom thought of affect as a fundamental aspect of experience rather than a special class of feelings. It also draws from recent scientific research that suggests that the dynamic repertoire of consciousness can change, effectively expanding and contracting our capacity to feel. Weaving these perspectives together, the book develops a theory that accounts for the peculiar phenomenology of affect and sheds new light on a diverse range of experiences, from everyday pleasures and pains to the special satisfactions of the arts and religious festivity. At the same time, it presents a fresh and distinctively affect-centered perspective on the nature of consciousness.
Transformation is serious study of consciousness that offers deep insights regarding the nature of the true self. Because of our human conditioning the path of true awakening may be very difficult to accomplish. Thus book reveals the secrets to freedom of the egos bondage that is at the root of all sorrow.

This book addresses several key issues in the biological study of death with the intent of capturing their genealogy, the assumptions and presuppositions they make, and the way that they open specific new research avenues. The book is divided into two sections: the first considers physiology and the second evolutionary biology. In the first part, Huneman reconstructs a conceptual genealogy of experimental physiology based on an in-depth analysis of Bichat's investigations of death processes. In the second part he explains that biologists in the late 1950s put forth a research framework that evolutionarily accounts for death in terms of either an effect of the weakness of natural selection or a by-product of natural selection for early reproduction. He illustrates how the biology of death is a central field and that studying it provides insight into the way that the epistemic structure of this knowledge has been constituted, persists until now, and may conflict with some traditional philosophical ideas.
This second edition, revised and expanded, of the work originally published in April 2011, comprising 370 pages with more than 200 photographs and illustrations in full color, presents for the first time to the public the conceptual, metaphysical structure and original signification of the Marseille Tarot, a philosophical instrument par excellence expressing, through its 78 symbolic icons, the "Game of the Government of the World", common to all of Humanity. For centuries, it has conveyed the Sacred Science of the Ancient Builders, and communicates the Cheerful Knowledge of an immemorial and joyful philosophy of life, to all those who respond to the invitation to enter the Door of its Arcana, and penetrate its Mysteries...

Informative, exciting and, at times, extremely confronting, Questions From a Sometimes Philosopher explores the current challenges in our world and their root causes. The discussion is political, philosophical and spiritual, holding a magnifying glass to every aspect of our humanity. It is also practical, a veritable self-help guide for those who are courageous enough to create the change necessary for human survival on this planet. At the risk of making her audience feel uncomfortable, Gardner is willing to be bold and reveal truths about the current state of the earth and its inhabitants based on her personal insights, experience and expertise working with some of the world's most marginalised people. The picture she paints is devastatingly real, making it impossible to read these pages without feeling engaged, challenged and inspired to change. Her insights on the effects of what she considers to be a human race that lives under a regime of oppression, come from a place of deep concern for humanity and the future of the planet. This book is not a cry for help; it is a call for action.
The Agoge was the name of the school mandated for all Spartan males beginning at the age of seven and ending at age twenty-one. "Agoge" literally means 'guidance' or 'training.' This training regimen encompassed every domain of human interaction in its social, political, emotional, physical, and spiritual components. It emphasized military training, hunting, social skills, and loyalty to the nation and its principles. The overall goal of this system of excellence was the creation of a man who could serve as a citizen warrior. The importance of the Agoge cannot be overstated as it was this ancient system that produced Leonidas and his 300. Arguably then, it was the Agoge that saved the western world from enslavement. Again, western civilization faces extinction and the five warrior virtues provide the foundation for the American Agoge Project. The Project fosters an environment that produces able-bodied men of fine character that will make excellent citizen-warriors. Fine character and able-bodied is thus defined as physically and spiritually strong, mentally focused, morally straight, and socially astute. The American Agoge Project exists to help American boys become the kind of men that possess such qualities. This project exists to promote three values: man, God-fearing, and warrior. By valuing "man," we mean the qualities of manhood that have fallen prey to a complex set of socially conditioned, media-stimulated woke agendas designed to denigrate qualities that are vital to the future success of the family, and our Country. Central to this project is the value of a man who fears God and hates evil. And warrior, is the class of men who answer the call of duty, to serve in the ranks with those who defend our lives and liberties. In valuing these noble qualities, the goal is to enable the mind and body preparation for the American Warrior Class. The American Agoge Project is an idea whose time has come. This book, which is the ground floor of this project, seeks to codify the five warrior virtues that form the foundation of every warrior code, in every nation, of every age.
