Diese Studienhilfe zu numerischen Optimierungsverfahren richtet sich an Studierende des Maschinenbaus im Grundstudium und im Hauptstudium. Optimierungsverfahren gewinnen zunehmend an Bedeutung für den Leichtbau, wo eine Gewichtsreduzierung z.B. im Automobilbau oder in der Luft- und Raumfahrtindustrie zu einem geringeren Kraftstoffverbrauch und einer entsprechenden Senkung der Betriebskosten sowie zu positiven Auswirkungen auf die Umwelt führen kann. Basierend auf dem freien Computeralgebrasystem Maxima stellen die Autoren Verfahren zur numerischen Lösung ingenieurmathematischer Probleme sowie Anwendungen aus traditionellen Lehrveranstaltungen zur Festigkeit von Werkstoffen vor. Die mechanischen Theorien konzentrieren sich auf die typischen eindimensionalen Strukturelemente, d.h. Federn, Stäbe und Euler-Bernoulli-Balken, um die Komplexität des numerischen Rahmens zu reduzieren und den resultierenden Entwurf auf eine geringe Anzahl von Variablen zu beschränken. Die Verwendung eines Computeralgebrasystems und der darin enthaltenen Funktionen, z. B. für Ableitungen oder Gleichungslösungen, ermöglicht eine stärkere Konzentration auf die Methodik der Optimierungsverfahren und nicht auf Standardverfahren.Das Buch enthält auch zahlreiche Beispiele, darunter einige, die mit Hilfe eines grafischen Ansatzes gelöst werden können, um dem Leser ein besseres Verständnis der Computerimplementierung zu vermitteln.

This book constitutes the refereed proceedings of the International Conference on Business and Technology (ICBT2021) organized by EuroMid Academy of Business & Technology (EMABT), held in Istanbul, between 06-07 November 2021. In response to the call for papers for ICBT2021, 485 papers were submitted for presentation and inclusion in the proceedings of the conference. Mit dem "e;TEUBNER-TASCHENBUCH der Mathematik* Teil II"e; liegt eine vollig neube- arbeitete und wesentlich erweiterte Auflage der bisherigen "e;Erganzenden Kapitel zum Taschenbuch der Mathematik von I. N. Bronstein und K. A. Semendjajew"e; vor, die 1990 in sechster Auflage im Verlag B. G. Teubner in Leipzig erschienen sind. Der "e;Bronstein"e;, das unentbehrliche Nachschlagewerk fur Generationen von Studenten, Lehrern und Praktikern, wurde 1957 von V. Ziegler aus dem Russischen ubersetzt und erstmals 1958 in deutscher Sprache - erweitert um die Abschnitte "e;Variationsrechnung"e; und "e;Integralgleichungen"e; -im Verlag B. G. Teubner in Leipzig veroffentlicht. Unter der Herausgabe von G. Grosche und V. Ziegler erschien 1979 in enger Abstim- mung mit den Autoren der ursprunglichen Fassung die 19. , vollig uberarbeitete Auflage als Gemeinschaftsausgabe der Verlage Nauka und Teubner. In diese Leipziger Neubear- beitung wurden neue Teilgebiete aufgenommen, wie Grundbegriffe der mathematischen Logik, Matheorie und Lebesgue-Stieltjes-Integral, Tensorrechnung, lineare Optimierung, nichtlineare Optimierung, dynamische Optimierung, Graphentheorie, Spieltheorie, Nu- merik und Funktionalanalysis. Manche Abschnitte muten erheblich erweitert werden, z. B. Wahrscheinlichkeitsrechnung, mathematische Statistik, Fourier-Analyse und Laplace- Transformation. Da bei dieser Zielstellung der Umfang des Werkes nicht annahernd in den Grenzen des ursprunglichen Taschenbuches gehalten werden konnte, die Handlichkeit aber moglichst erhalten bleiben sollte, kamen Verfasser der ursprunglichen und Herausgeber der neuen Fassung zu dem Entschlu, die weiterfuhrenden Kapitel 8 bis 11 herauszulosen und in einem Erganzungsband zusammenzufassen.
