Crane (1979) defines participatory management as a management approach in which the subordinates in a particular situation are allowed and encouraged to participate in decisions that will affect them. As such participatory management is a technique or the process of involving subordinates in planning, decision-making, information and making changes in schools (Kinicki& Williams, 2003).When principals, carry out their functions of planning, organizing, staffing, leading, and controlling, the responsibility is on them as School leaders to optimally involve other staff members in the decision-making process. This might be possible if they adopt a management style, such as participative management which could assist them to align and integrate staff efforts and interests with the goals of the school. This is so because participatory management increases teachers¿ creativity, involvement, and commitment.
The corona virus disease (COVID-19) pandemic has caused an unprecedented crisis in all areas. In the field of education, this emergency has led to the massive closure of face-to-face activities of educational institutions in more than 190 countries in order to prevent the spread of the virus and mitigate its impact. According to data from the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO), by mid-May 2020, more than 1.2 billion students at all levels of education worldwide had stopped having face-to-face classes. In this context, the crisis will have a profoundly negative impact on the various social sectors, particularly health and education, as well as on employment and poverty (ECLAC, 2020a). There was a major setback for the educational institutions in order to manage the covid crisis situations, especially conducting classes, communicating with stake holders, following the rules and regulations in the premises. In this context the present research focused on covid crisis management among secondary school teachers and thus felt the need to explore.

Globally cerebrovascular disease (stroke) is the second most important cause of death(WHO, 2008). The word "stroke" itself depicts the manner in which this disorder oftenoccurs to a person. As aptly noted by Stein (2004), a person who is dynamic andindependent person is "struck down" (p.1). Stroke is an abrupt, life-changing incidentthat often gives no caution of its approach. Almost every survivor of stroke has beencaught unaware and it has changed the life of the survivor forever. Duncan,Blankenship, & Bitensky (2009) have noted that stroke can lead to a range ofneurological impairments and medical problems. They have added that constraints inactivities of daily living (ADLs) and reduced quality of life (QoL) are other majoroutcomes of stroke. Based on the progress in the diagnosis, treatment and therapies forstroke in the present day from the time when its occurrence was related to theHippocratic concept of disparity in the "humours", it can be argued that knowledgeabout stroke has come a long way (Edlow, 2008).Stroke has been defined by WHO (2005b) as a "focal (or at times global) neurologicalimpairment of sudden onset, and lasting more than 24 hours (or leading to death), andof presumed vascular origin (p.4)". As per this definition; stroke has its genesis in thevascular system referring to the blood vessels of the body, it occurs rapidly and lasts fora time period of more than twenty hours. Injury of the nervous tissues and even death ofthe patient has been reportede3 in many cases. A stroke or brain attack occurs whencells in the brain die due to insufficient flow of blood. While 80 per cent of the strokesare caused by the blockage of an artery in the neck or brain; the rest are caused by aburst blood vessel in the brain that causes bleeding into or around the brain.

The study aims to investigate using short stories to motivate intermediate EFL learners in essay writing at Vietnam Centre Point. More specifically, it attempts to fulfill the two guiding research questions: (1) What are the learners¿ attitudes towards using English short stories in enhancing writing essays? (2) How can short stories motivate EFL learners in essay writing? This study concerned 45 intermediate learners who were studying at Vietnam Centre Point, the researcher¿s workplace. This study adopted a sequential mixed-method approach to data collection and analysis. Both quantitative and qualitative data were gathered from the questionnaire and semi-structured interviews. The findings expressed that the attitudes of the learners (containing affective, behavioral, and cognitive components) and factors motivating them (consisting of intrinsic and extrinsic motivation) in their essay writing through using short stories mostly had positive outcomes.

Main purpose of this study was to assess the factors associated with adult learners dropout from adult education program. Out of 299 target population 138 respondents were selected by using simple random and purposive sampling techniques. to achieve the objectives and answer the research questions three data collection instruments were utilized in the research design and methodology. These were questionnaire for the learners, interview for the coordinator, cluster adult education supervisor and town education officer and focused group discussion with adult education facilitators. The questionnaire was distributed to 128 learners of the program. This questionnaire included 27 statements to be completed by participants based on the 5 point liker type. The interview was administered for 1 coordinator, 1 cluster supervisor, and 1 town education officer and focused group discussion with 7 facilitators. The data obtained from these instruments were analyzed using quantitative and qualitative methods. First, the result of the questionnaire was analyzed quantitatively and separately. Next the results of the interview and focus group discussion were analyzed qualitatively.
Until the mid-2000s, language teaching in Brazil was delegated to Language Learning Centers, which suppressed the inefficiency of the proposed additional language teaching within basic education. Even for those who could afford to pay for this service, this reality intensified the common sense that foreign languages are not learned in regular schools and further amplified social inequality. This scenario has been undergoing major changes with the intensification of bilingual education proposals. In this scenario, we find the teaching figure and the necessary knowledge to act in this context. It was with the purpose of contributing to the formation of teachers for bilingual Portuguese-English education that I started the present investigation about the teachers' knowledge needs and the major difficulties encountered by educators who work with bilingual education of choice in the midst of the unprecedented context imposed by the pandemic of the new coronavirus and lockdown, and their voices and their places of speech constituted the foundations of the present research.
