Ho'okupu is a Hip Hop anthology of Hawaiian history created by a masterful team of Hawaiian cultural historians, Hawai'i's top MCs, educational consultants, teachers, Na Hoku Hanohano award-winning hip hop artists, producers, hip hop lyrical advisors, and academic professors. This collaborative project can be used in classrooms as a rich and engaging resource to teach Hawai'i's history. As an initiative of education through arts and culture, we optimized this project by creating supplemental resources. Each song is treated as a unit in this Learner & Teacher Resource Guide. Each song unit includes a brief introduction, followed by the lyrics, several writing and discussion prompts, and a poetry sample and prompt. A recommended list of sources that can be used to supplement the content areas covered within the song is also included. Examensarbeit aus dem Jahr 2022 im Fachbereich Pädagogik - Musikpädagogik, Note: 1, Hochschule für Musik Carl Maria von Weber Dresden, Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Der methodische Bereich der Improvisation erhält auch in der allgemeinen Musikpädagogik einen wachsenden Stellenwert. Neben ganz allgemeinen wissenschaftlichen Betrachtungen soll der Blick auf die Perspektive aus der Waldorfpädagogik gerichtet werden. Hierzu bieten vor allem Veröffentlichungen zu möglichen Übwegen von Wolfgang Wünsch und Stefan Ronner eine reichhaltige Fundgrube. Da eine umfassende Beschreibung aller für die neunte und zehnte Klasse möglichen Übungen diesen Rahmen sprengen würde, kann dabei nur eine Auswahl exemplarisch erwähnt werden. Es liegt etwas mehr Gewicht auf den Übungen der 9. Klasse, da diese Zeit ein besonders wichtiges Bindeglied zur gesamten Oberstufenzeit darstellt. In Abhängigkeit von der individuellen Entwicklung der SchülerInnen können diese auch in der 10. Klasse noch genügend Stoff bieten, bzw. es fehlen aktuell aufgrund der Ausfälle durch die Corona-Zeit vermutlich in einigen Klassen sowieso Inhalte oder Übungserfahrungen aus der Mittelstufe, weshalb äußere Einteilung der Schuljahre auch eine gewisse Flexibilität erlauben sollte. Abschließend werden auch bisherige praktische Erfahrungen der Autorin mit dieser Altersgruppe einbezogen.
