A raven flew toward me, a small black dot against the clear horizon. It landed on my arm. I rolled out the note in my hand. My eyes widened, my hand started shaking. I starred at the writing. I couldn't believe it. It couldn't be true. I glanced over at Skuld and Trud before I turned my large battle horse and rode back.
"Hild where are you going!" Trud called, but I didn't answer her.
I should have protected him, and if this was true... then he was gone.
