Camille McRae is your typical teenage girl, just trying to make her way through high school. That is until she discovers a unique ability she has to transform into other life forms. When she confronts her parents about her newfound skill, they confess that there is a whole community of people just like them called Chameleons. After Camille fails to control her shifting powers in front of a fellow classmate, she ends up sending the most popular girl in school, Danielle Campton, to a mental institution. With the ACHA hot on their trails - with Agent Kerr leading the charge - the McRaes go on the run like fugitives, plan to change their identities, and eventually meet another Chameleon who has a darker secret than they could have ever imagined.
