The first book in the Chicken of the Sea trilogy concludes with Victor Joshua Walker's family safely reunited in the Marquesas Islands of French Polynesia; however, his father's paranoia is unchanged. Chicken Too begins two weeks later. The sun is a fireball on the horizon when Victor's grandmother sees a ship steaming towards them.
