The story is telling about Dee, a German woman of Asian descent who ponders her life experiences, and how she overcame the adversities she encountered. When she started first grade at the age of 4, she was bullied until she ended the abuse 3 years later. As she turned 18, she took a journey to Germany and landed in a nightclub, but managed to escape the forced prostitution. After that, to stay in Germany and without love, she married a German man and gave birth to 2 sons. Later, she faced sexual abuse in the marriage. One day, she applied for a divorce and was forced by law to leave her little sons to their father's care. 23 years later, her sons found her. In the meantime, she encountered other adversities. At the age of 24, she was raped by 2 men while her boyfriend was cheating on her with her best friend. Later, she found out she was pregnant by one of her tormentors and had to give her baby away for adoption. To endure the separation from her little sons, she started smoking and became addicted to nicotine. After repeated attempts, she had the strength to quit smoking and gained weight of over 80 lbs. 8 years later, she worked hard on herself, lost that weight, began to exercise, changed her lifestyle and has become an attractive and desirable woman. The door to her past was finally closed, and her life seemed to be in order. But living a life without sex for over 12 years made her long to be with someone.
