Riel Del Toro is a man of tradition, an elected official within the vampire community. He is in the midst of returning from a much needed vacation with Sisco and Natalie when an acquaintance brings news that is sure to have dire consequences. With knowledge confirming that Natalie's human son, Nathaniel, is on the hunt, Riel must return to the States. He has a job as Museum curator to get back to and, now, more vampiric business that he had hoped to avoid. Natalie's son has always posed a problem, but one he could ignore until now.
