There are two main groups that fall into the category of 'digital natives': Those known as millennials and their younger counterparts, centennials.

Changes in the fiber of digital natives, when compared with their earlier cohorts, raise the question as to whether these evolutionary changes are a result of the Digital Revolution.Although the initial introduction to computers was slow in gaining traction and momentum, there can be no denying the fact that over the last few decades, additional technological challenges and advancements have made unprecedented strides across almost every sector and industry. Globally, these changes have taken place so rapidly and so drastically that it's impossible to return to the world we once knew. In short, if we want to remain abreast of these changes, we need to be able to sprint to keep up, rather than walk.Technology has altered the trajectory of history and has touched every aspect of our lives-whether personal, business, educational, or healthcare, and significant strides have been made in the way that we interact, communicate, and do business.Individuals belonging to this period of history and the products of this revolution are currently labeled as 'Digital Natives.' This is a new generation that is defined by a completely different set of rules, characteristics, and behavioral traits that separate them from all other generations that have superseded them. They think and act completely differently from their predecessors.It raises questions that ask if, because of their new way of thinking and acting, has their sphere of intelligence actually changed in line with the improvements made to technology? What type of future are we currently approaching that will be led by these Digital Natives? How can they be distinguished from those that have gone before?
