Dissect Your Dinner; Student Text - Ellen Johnston McHenry - Bog

This is the student text portion of the curriculum "Dissect Your Dinner" for ages 10 to 16. This student text is included in the full curricula book, "Dissect Your Dinner." The student text is offered separately for teachers and parents who are teaching multiple students and would like each student to have their own copy of the text. The text has six chapters that correspond to the progress of a meal: beverages and condiments, appetizers, salad, main course, dessert. In each chapter we find out what is in each food, right down to the molecular level. All standard food chemistry topics are covered at some point in the book, but perhaps not in the order that other food chemistry texts do. The topics are covered as we come to them in the imaginary meal presented in the text.
