People learn foreign languages for many reasons, but we think the following are good reasons for learning English: First, English is an international language and used all over the world. Third, if you go to university, you will find many subjects are taught and studied in English. Forth, you may want to know what is happening in the world and what the new ideas and discovers are. Knowledge of a foreign language will help you. Fifth, perhaps you wish to read some of the world's great literature (stories, poems and plays). A lot of them are in English.
