Bag om European Law
This book is aimed at anyone interested in the European Union and EU law. However it covers the law needed for A level (AQA, OCR, Eduqas and Cambridge International 2017 specifications) and other law courses. Written by an experienced teacher and senior examiner, this book covers the EU institutions, the different types of EU law and the effect of these laws on member states and their citizens. These are all clearly set out with plenty of recent case examples, including several for 2017. Cases have been chosen from across the EU to give a range of examples. There is a separate chapter on the effect of EU law on the UK specifically, and a final chapter with examination guidance, for A level students. The 'law explained' series offers in-depth coverage of individual areas of law. This means you can pick those topics for which you need more guidance. There are lots of examples, diagrams and tasks and a revision and examination chapter for those who need it. Answers to tasks and examination questions are provided at the end of the book. This book can be used as a self-study guide as well as in the classroom. It is written in a lively, clear and accessible way and is designed to help students of all learning styles to understand the subject. Although it covers the AQA and OCR specifications, it is also a useful introduction to the law needed for higher-level courses such as the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives course and various Law degree courses. For those interested in what happens next in the UK there will be an update on 'Brexit' on my website as and when it happens. Other books by Sally Russell Criminal law and the law of tort for both AS and A-level (AQA and OCR) have been published. As for other titles, these change quite regularly and new books may be available by the time you read this. For the most up to date list of what is available please check my author's page on Amazon or visit my website at www.drsr.org. All my books are available in both Kindle and paperback format.
