Event Day, 1993 - Twenty-one years ago, a cataclysm cut the United States in two. "The Event". John Kroft emerged screaming into the world in the back of a station wagon as his parents fled the horrors unleashed on that day. To Kroft, the annual celebration of Event Day is just another reminder of a life lived hard. He just wants to be left alone on his birthday, but bad things always happen to Kroft. They soon find themselves being hunted by an invisible, demonic creature.
