Evocation of Flowers In praise of flowers in pictures and words. Flowers of the wayside photographed in the lanes of Devon and popular garden flowers mostly from the author's own garden. The vibrant images tumble across the pages in a fluid and expressive style. Each one is a combination of several photographs and original artwork all by the author. Each picture is accompanied by a selection of verse specific to the featured flower. Many are originals written by the author in various forms including amusing, descriptive and reflective. There are also selections from Shakespeare, John Clare and B. Paine, A. Marvel, W.H. Davies and J. Masefield. All combining to produce an unusual and original book.
