Amid the adversities posed by the pandemic, the agricultural sector remained resilient, distinguishing itself as one of the few segments to maintain robustness. India excels as the top producer of various commodities such as milk, spices, pulses, tea, cashew, and jute. Additionally, it holds the second-largest producer position for commodities like rice, wheat, oilseeds, fruits and vegetables, sugarcane, and cotton.
