Collocation is the using of two compound words with each other that can come together for making a meaningful component of the parts of speech. Making use of an authentic text, vocabulary and writings, this study aims to illustrate how constraints on word-combinations (i.e. collocations) should be taught.Because of the lack of enough information or knowledge sources, learners of a foreign language find the use of collocation difficult when they want to speak a foreign language fluently and in a native-like manner.

"Teacher-talk" is defined as speech used by teachers that is characteristically modified in four areas: phonology, lexis (consisting of morphology and vocabulary), syntax, and discourse. The phenomenon of teacher-talk has captured the attention of researchers for some time. Anyone who has ever taught English as a second or foreign language is aware of the immensity of the task. In fact, it is no longer deemed sufficient to teach the nuts and bolts of language¿grammatical competence. Also important are sociolinguistic competence, the ability to produce and understand the appropriate remark at the appropriate time; discourse competence, the ability to produce a unified, coherent text in a given genre; and strategic competence, knowledge of how to repair, maintain, enhance, or facilitate communication.

Code switching (CS) or the alternation of languages by bilinguals has attracted an enormous amount of researchers¿ attentions. Although many empirical and theoretical studies have been done in CS field, there have not been adequate studies in Iranian bilingual settings. Furthermore, studying on students¿ attitudes toward CS from personality traits (PT) perspective is completely a new topic all around the world. Based on a comprehensive survey of the literature, no similar study could be found in Iran and the world except for two research papers in non-educational setting in abroad. Due to this critical gap in CS, this book focused on the relationship between MA EFL students¿ PT including extraversion, agreeableness, conscientiousness, neuroticism, and openness to experience sub-scales and their attitudes toward teachers¿ CS behavior in Urmia, Iran. In addition, the overall attitudes of students toward teachers¿ CS behavior were discussed. This book as a completely unique research in educational setting can help bilingual English teachers to reflect on their CS behavior, and also provides researchers and students with a coherent and up-to-date survey in this significant area.

Music opens the door to better language and literacy skills. By memorizing simple nursery songs, your child is exposed to new words. Songs create repetition and reinforce new words that your child is learning on a daily basis. The most important part of learning a language is talking with native speakers. The second most important part? Self-study. Songs are great for self-study because they make your study sessions fun. Having fun while you study is a really effective way to learn.

In addition to that purpose, the correlation between each sub-scale of PT, including extraversion, agreeableness, conscientiousness, neuroticism, and openness to experience, and teachers¿ CS is analyzed. To this end, 150 MA English students (70 males and 80 females) from State and Azad universities of Urmia City participated in this study. Two instruments were used for data collection: In order to measure students¿ PT, the Big Five Inventory designed by John & Srivastava, 1999, was administered.
