Preface Melina is the fifth book in the series. Then again, she is technically the 4th, but I decided to split Ahi in two. As of now, you may have noticed the order I take with my books. The Melina story has some magical elements here and there. The dragons only play a bit role in this story. The book focuses on Melina's adventures as a courtesan. She was bought as a slave, by the figurehead of Sassari to play court politics. This book also focuses on the religion of the people of Saturnastra. Most fantasy books tend to avoid the whole God situation. Then again, everyone in this part of the Solar System believes in a God. Godliness was more common during the time when magic was practice in planet Earth. Since magic is common in Saturnastra, the worship of the Gods is also commonplace. I delineate somewhat the theology of the world, and the relationship between the people and the Gods. Aside from the theology, I also established how the slavery system works in Saturnastra. IntroductionThe book Melina is the first book in the series not told in first person. For this book, I created a fake writer to tell the story. He is a character belonging to the world of Saturnastra. He is trying to make sense of all the wild stories told about the protagonist, Melina. This is something that is not commonly done in the English world. It is a bit of a fantastic pseudo biography or an anecdotal book. It was an interesting gimmick to say the least. The story follows the moment that Melina first appeared in Saturnastra recorded history. We know from the narrator, that Melina was a war hero. He is trying to piece together the truth about Melina, for better of for worse. He takes a bit of a Journalism method of writing. He forges his story based on numerous interviews, and physical evidence. By all extents, the narrator thinks that he is getting the truth about Melina's life. You will only see Melina, when there is a human type of person observing her. You will never seen the point of view of Melina. As with all my writing, the narration style will not impede the understanding of the story. Hopefully, you won't be disappointed by how I told the story of a courtesan. Once you get to the end of the book, maybe you will understand what I am talking about. After proofing it several times, I have arrived to the conclusion that Melina is mainly a comedy, with the exception of the final 30 pages. By then, the book turns into an action piece, with numerous army battles. Hopefully, you will find the battles I describe humoring, if not entertaining.

Preface Deasura is about the ninth book in the series. Can you believe I already wrote nine books on the matter? In this book, I take on a subject I have not covered as of now. I focus on the priestly class and on ocean travel. I did have a couple of boating scenes in Ahi. However, I did not illustrate it in a fashion that followed the common laws of man. This book originally started on a different tone. I soured up a bit as a result of a terrible cruise ship that I took. It was then that I finally understood why sailors spent all their time nursing their wines. If you are a sober fellow, ocean travel is a sorry business indeed. I explore this and many other different aspects about it. I also tell of those special nights when the moon looks very beautiful. Saturnastra has several of moons. This book has plenty of nautical descriptions. While on the cruise, I saw a bit what it was like to be in the open ocean. I traveled during Hurricane Nate, and whenever we docked, I was always thankful. This only had a tacit influence on the book. I am always careful about giving the character their own mind and experiences. It is not good to project oneself too much into a book. A writer always runs the risk of turning all characters into little clones of themselves. Without any further roundaboutness, I do so hope you enjoy the latest entry to the Saturnastra series. IntroductionThe book follows the adventures of Deasura. She hopes to bring money to her siblings, to help them fund their individual operations. She must earn local currency, instead of inventing her own. Deasura tries this and many other little side businesses before landing on the job that most suited her. She did not set out to be a priestess. Rather, she got recruited into what she considers a cult. It has all the tell-tell signs, with the secret rituals, and fanatical followers. The book is told in epistle format. It is a bit of a gimmick. I am always trying out new narrative styles. I am still in the formative years of my writing education. There is always room for improvement. How a story is told can affect the way that people perceive it. The main documents used were personal letters, a diary and a captain's log. I looked at a captain's log to see the format of it. From the writing, you will notice the growth of the character. Then again, character development is the least a writer can offer. Most writers rarely manage to age up a character properly. I will continue to experiment with my writing. Hopefully, you will enjoy the final results. This book features a decent amount of action. I know most readers are into that sort of thing.

  • - Ahi: Part 1

Preface This is the third book in the series. It is also the only one to have two parts. I could have it all in the same book. Still, it felt like it might make a really fat book. It is for this reason I divided the book in half. Originally, the book Ahi was going to end after 55,000 words. I then decided to keep going with it. The book Ahi is one of the strangest I have ever written. The book focuses on my little Ahi. His main mission is to do nothing. He is just supposed to sit and wait to be called upon. However, the mundane problems of Saturnastra has yet to require the attention of a being as powerful as Ahi. Since he has nothing better to do, Ahi just mainly does whatever he wants. This book takes place in a couple of more regions. His adventures and misadventures even take him to other Continents, and even to other worlds. When I say worlds, I do not refer to planets. Just a different type of place. A place that is between this, that and the rest. I also expand a bit on the lore, and the origin of Ahi and all his brothers and sisters. His parents also make a bit of a cameo appearance. Mainly, the entire bulk of this book is about dragons, and dragon based economy. Humans tend to treat them as a type of commodity, that only those with lots of gold can afford. Just owning one is enough to raise one's cool factor in the Kingdom. This and many other humorous things will be enjoyed in the book. IntroductionThe narration style I used in this book is pretty unique. At least in literature, I have never ran into anything like it. The book is told from the perspective of a film crew that is making a documentary about Ahi. The main issue is that Ahi does not process thought in a way that can be made sense of. In order to chronicle his life, the Wicked Sophie's film crew was tasked with stalking Ahi and recording everything he does an says. This is easier said than done. Ahi is a dragon. He was a dragon before he came to the world of Saturnastra. He only changed a bit in nature when he came into contact with the dragons of the region. In doing so, he blended with the local draconic population. Aside from dragons, Ahi is forced to deal with the human population. To relate to them, he has his own little human form. He cannot shrink down, since he cannot use magic. Instead, he grows an angler from his head, that has the shape of a human being. He uses that form to interact with humans and other tiny creatures. In the first book, Ahi interacts mainly with the humans and dragons. He also does his best to pretend that the film crew is not stalking him around.

In Scary Cat 4, Pipa and her friends explore a Spooky house. There are no supernatural threats. Rather, the air of mystery is what feeds the infantile fears of the characters. At first, Pipa's friends are hyper focused on a so called "Haunted Doll". The doll apparently has the ability to speak. The initial investigations show the doll not doing anything. While investigating the doll, a bug lands close to Pipa's face. This triggers Pipa's bug phobia. So, she naturally runs deeper into the spooky house. The book then becomes a hide and seek game. The readers and Pipa's friends are tasked with finding where Scary Cat is hiding. The book teaches children to use their powers of observation and to think critically. Just because someone tells you that a place is haunted by ghosts, you shouldn't believe them. Just because a doll can talk, one shouldn't imminently think ghosts are involved. Talking dolls are real, and they talk because they have a robotic component that gives them the ability to speak. I hope you find Pipa's next Scary adventure amusing and humorous.

The story takes place in 1982. It was a couple of years before I was born. People love the 80s, and so it seemed like a good idea to turn back the clock a bit. Cuba after the revolution entered a type of time bubble. The world changes and flows, while that country is stagnant, and never changing. Even now, with the supposed changes, it still feels like the place has not changed one bit. As for the characters, they are not real people with their names changed. That would just be lazy writing if you ask me. Think of it like putting all the ingredients in a pot, and then stirring, and stirring them to form a soup. This book is like a soup. If you like soup, then you will enjoy it. If you do not, then at least you bought my soup, and so I get to eat cheesecake for another day. What is important is that you find this book remotely entertaining. It is a bit shorter than some of my other works, but I putted the same effort as I did in some of my other works. The title was the thing I gave the most thought. I wanted to make it something simple, and unassuming. Eventually, I wiggled it down to just The House. If The House manages to scare you even a little bit, then I may have some hope as a horror writer. If not, I hope it makes you feel a little sometime, even if that feeling is just mild amusement. Now, sit back and enjoy my new book.

Preface I think this is the eight book in the series. When you write so much, you tend to lose track at a certain point. Then again, I think I should number the books. The reason I have not done so is because you can read the books in any particular order. Only Ahi has a true sequel. The rest are parallel novels. They take place in the same world, but at different times and places. Monkey King takes place 4 years after the main stories. He has returned to Saturnastra for reasons he does not want to get into. The first time he visited was to complete a specific mission. Now, he is going to live there. The book is not about THE Monkey King. It is just what his people call him. One day, all the apes in the Lusitania Peninsula started becoming sentient. Their bodies also started changing as well. Money King became the ruler of this new sentient race. The book focuses on his empire building. IntroductionMonkey King is Ahi's twin. Somewhere in their development, Ahi became a powerful dragon while Monkey King became a magic user. He is unique in so much as he can also bless and curse people. This ability is usually reserved for priests. Unlike most of his brothers, Monkey King has ideals of grandeur. While his brother Marduke is closing up his Kingdom, Monkey King is trying to expand it. This is easier said than done, for someone as fussy as Monkey King. Officially, he does not have a name. When he got adopted by the local apes, they named him Able. He was named Able because of the things he was able to do. The book features quite the number of army battles. I also start defining the sea portion of the continent. This is the first book where I have a fully trained magic user as the main character. I hope you find his magic quite entertaining.

  • - Ahi: Book 2

PrefaceThis is the only book I have made an official second part. Originally, I wanted to make Ahi another stand alone book. I then decided to add more to his story. It is in the second half of the book that Ahi really takes to traveling. He ends up visiting two different continent. It is in this book that I showcase the scale of the world. During his journey, Ahi meets new people and dragons. I expand the draconic lore and I add a couple of new flavors into the mix. So, if you like dragons, this second half of the book is going to be more to your liking. I also go into details about the other types of creatures that call this world their home. Aside from dragons, I also added a couple of demons into the mix. As for the front cover, I painted it. It features the two personas of Ahi. There is a Ahi the tiny human looking fellow, and Ahi the giant Space Dragon. The thing he is standing on is the Titan moon. At the moment, it does not have its usual golden covering. The floor is the world of Saturn. I wanted to use the moon in order to serve as a scale for Ahi. I hope you find this fantasy story quite entertaining.IntroductionThis is the second part of the book Ahi. It is the only book of the series that is a true sequel. I am not the type of fellow that likes to write about the same person all the time. Once a character runs its course, I move onto the next fellow. This was not the case with my little Ahi. By now, you may already guess that Ahi does not think the way most people do. As the humans in my book put it, Ahi is a professional madman. I was not trying to make a point on that matter. Rather, I was showing draconic behavior being displayed by someone who looks human. If he was in his dragon form, his behavior would be pretty normal. Ahi was also not put in that world to make life for people easy. He is his own man and he will do whatever he pleases. It is a good thing for the humans that he has a good heart. He would never hurt anyone on purpose. Aside from acting like a dragon, Ahi eats like one. In his human form, it tends to throw people off. People tend to get freaked out when they see him eating a solid piece of lumber, or a silver crown. His human form only has the shape of a human. Inside, he is 100 percent draconic, as far as his metabolism is concerned. Ahi does end up having something of a romantic interest. Still, his idea of romance is not what most people think. It will become obvious when you get to that point. Since Ahi will get married in this book, his family makes a brief cameo for the wedding. More stuff happens, and there is even a couple of one sided battles if you are into violence. Mainly, the book is just a strange tale as far as the fantasy genre is concerned. Stay tune for the thrilling conclusion of Ahi's adventures in the world of Saturnastra.

It was late autumn in the city of Aragon. It was raining as usual, and there was a certain acrid scent coming from the water canals. Efforts had been made in the past to clean then, but they just got dirty again. These days the Lord did not bother wasting resources in a problem that did not seem to have any possible solution. In one of the many ancient sewers that fed into the canals, there was a farmer digging a tunnel. The tunnel led to one of the castles of the previous Lord of Aragon Lio. The man was alive and well, but nobody could even trust him with their slippers. It is a curious saying. The whole slipper thing was based on a folk story of the region. There once was a shoemaker and his son. One day, the shoemaker had to go on a quick errand. He left his son to keep an eye on the slippers he was making. What did the boy do? Well, he played with the slippers with his dog. With the shoes ruined, the family entered the poorhouse, and the dog was dissected to recover the diamond pieces he had swallowed. Ever since then, the slipper story was used to describe people's level of untrustworthiness. Regardless, the farmer boy was digging away. He figured that in the old castle there must have been a basement. In the reconstructed site, there was only a memorial for those who died in a freak accident that nobody seemed willing to talk about. As the boy progressed with his tunnel, his pike eventually struck a solid surface. The walls he had previously broken through had runes and elaborate floral patterns. After smashing around with more force, the support wall caved in and down fell before the kid a coffin. The child was only familiar with wooden coffins. For that reason, he imagined that the coffin was actually a coffer. The chains around it also helped to sell this idea. On top of the coffin, there were some faded words in Common, which was now called English. "...have meal ready should I wake..." The child thought nothing of it. After bashing the coffin, a bit, the chains gave way. With much effort he removed the lid, and he beheld a thing of beauty. No, the creature inside the coffin was not Rimaru, rather one of those primordial elves. This one in particular had lost his light millennium ago, and now required blood for sustenance. After being parched for an untold amount of time, the creature rose from the coffin and embraced the small child. With fangs glistening in the darkness like shinny steel, the elf lightly graced the neck, before pushing back the kid. Frowning he said, "When I asked for a meal, this is not what I had in mind."The kid not bothering to see what else was to occur ran for his dear life. Frowning, the elf said, "What a bother." The elf walked a bit through the corridors. With his nose finally working, his insides were starting to twist in a knot. He would have thrown up, had he any matter inside his form. After walking for what seemed like an eternity, he saw the light at the end of the tunnel, in a literal sense. As a dark elf, he detested the sun. He did not have photo sensitivity like the Alfasir elves. Still, the sunlight was not something he enjoyed. It made him particularly thirsty. He saw the flowing water and it made him shiver a little. After looking about a bit, he saw a ferryman. He gestured to the man, and he said, "Kind sir, I met with an unfortunate fate, would you be so kind as to take me to dryland."The ferryman saw the fellow, and where he exiting from. The man drew nearer when he noticed that the man was wearing noble attire. In the end, the ferryman erred on the safe side, and ignored the elf. The second time a boatman passed he also went on his way. The elf was quite distressed by his situation. As soon as the third boatman made eye contact the elf, the fellow had hypnotized him. The elf said to the boatman, "You will take me to dryland.""Yes, I will take you to dryland," said the boatman drawing nearer. ...

First Book In the Scary Cat Series. By the writer of the Saturnastra Series, the Chiblia and the Furies. A book about facing your fears. It is written for kids to teach them about facing their fear and being brave. Ages 3 and Up. A perfect first book for your child to read. Written in easy to understand large font for any beginner reader.Felipa runs a detective agency with her friends. Her new case is to search with her friends for the source of a scary sound in the forest. She gets lost and her father goes to find her. There are many Scary Cats in the world. Some may even live in your own home. I first conceived of the idea of Scary Cat about a year ago. I am always brainstorming new book ideas. Scary Cat seemed like a good concept for a Children's book. This book is the first one I have drawn by hand. I used Copic markers, and Sakura Pigma Micron Pens. The speech bubbles were added with Photoshop. Since this book is going to be a series, I spent a lot of time in the first volume introducing the characters. I spent a lot of time designing the characters. Each of them is themed after a specific type of cat. The main girl, Filipa, is based on a Tuxedo Cat. The mother is a Calico cat, and the older sister is a Havana Brown Cat. The Tuxedo cat is not a type of cat breed. Rather, it is the name for the color patches. Filipa has a step-dad, and a little brother too. I thought it would make the family dynamics a little bit more interesting. The drawing style of the book is Kawaii. I thought the Kawaii style was interesting enough. Still, I feel that the anatomy is more Chibi. The scenery I drew it realistic, with cute faces in houses and trees. The first story is about looking for a scary sound in the woods. Kids tend to get worked up by unusual sounds. I was going for a whole investigative crew type of feel for the stories. Still, I do not want to make the scary stuff be a guy wearing a costume. There will never be a guy in a scary costume. The book is meant for little kids, but grown up can enjoy the book too, if they have nothing better to do. Hopefully, the kids will be able to cope with their childhood fears. Aside from the cat family, in this book there will be other species of people. I do not plan to have humans featured. Each of the creatures will have some of the passive abilities of their animal counterparts. Scary Cat Filipa will be able to climb, and her penguin friend will be able to swim underwater. Filipa will also roam a bit, as is the habit of kitties. I seen them roaming about from time to time, in the back garden. Aside from the book, I suppose I should speak of myself a bit. I graduated with Honors from FIU from the School of Journalism. I have a Bachelor in Communications. I started drawing in my spare time, between my classes. This is the second series of children books that I have started. The other one is about the Bible. I could have done with story with any other type of animal. I could have even used people. Instead, I used cats and cute little animals. I like cats. I hope you like cats too. Aside from children's books, I have a manga and a fantasy book series. You can check them out, if you like the way I write and draw.

Scary Cat Goes to School is the second book of the series. I was thinking of keeping it balanced. I want stories that take place in the school setting, and others out in the world. Kids spent almost half their lives in school, anyway. When I was wee small, I was afraid of going to school. It did not get better over time, in fact. It got worse. While thinking of the next episode, mother suggested I write a book about the first day of school. It is usually the most traumatizing aspect for little kids. It is for this reason that some parents ease their kids into it, by starting them on day care. Being apart from one's parents is just a part of growing up as such. Nobody likes to get outside their comfort zone. When a school has the proper setting, and mindset, the transition from normal life to school life works seamlessly, even for a Scary Cat. The only thing based on true events is the walk that Scary Cat took on her way to school. My father would try to teach me the colors on my way to school. As we made our way there, we would describe the color of the houses. Parents should give that a shot, if they want to teach their kids the colors. The kids can exercise, and they can learn. I always found that I learn better when I am exercising. The ancient Greeks worked both their minds and bodies. For a person to be whole, one needs to polish both aspects. Now, back to the Scary Cat book. I made a series of designs for the Uniforms. I though uniforms would look better than every kid having a different outfit. I wore uniforms for most of my early schooling. As for the tablets, I thought it would be fun to make the school a bit more advanced. The drawings themselves where made with markers and coloring pencils. I hope this little book helps your child transition well into school life. Bye, bye, and God bless.

PrefaceWoden is the 11th book in the Saturnastra Series. Can you believe I already completed 11 novels? I still have three other books remaining in the series. Still, I feel quite happy that I am already in the final hurdle of this project. When I get an idea in my head, I follow through it. Most people lack the follow-through to become writers. They get bored or out of ideas by page 11. I am always full of cookie ideas. When the thoughts do not come to me, I dream them up. I have always had a fertile imagination. This is needed to write what I consider a fantasy book. When I started this, I chose a theme and then went with it. Though, in the long scheme of things, all the books of these series do not fall under a specific genre. The only thing they have in common are the familial ties, and the world that the characters inhabit. Woden already made a couple of cameos in other books of mines. This will be her stand alone story. It will take place over the course of a couple of days. Sometimes the most important events in people's life take place in a short amount of time. I think this book might actually be what people consider fantasy. The main girl is a magic type of person, and I do feature a decent amount of spells here and there. Then again, how this book ends up getting categorized is all up to the store that is selling my books. I have a particular way of looking at the world, and this viewpoint is reflected somewhat in this book. If you are already up to book 11th in this series, you already know to expect the unexpected. IntroductionI originally said in my first book that you did not need to read the entire series in order. This remains true for this book as well. Woden is its own stand alone novel. What it has in common with the other books is the setting. It takes place in the world that her family calls Saturnastra. The local lifeforms call it something else, as it is to be expected. The book focuses on the first couple of days of Woden away from her family. She is trying to adapt to her current situation, and her traveling companion does not help one bit. The book is told from the perspective of the Primordial Demon Bayl. He recently got released, and is suffering a bit from memory gaps. Worried about this occurring again, he decides to keep something that he calls a diary. All his observations tend to revolve around the Woden and her shenanigans. Along the way, Woden and Bayl meet a bunch of interesting characters, from hags, knights to theater people. The book is a little bit more comic than my previous projects. As before, there are times when it bleeds a little into tension. The book was originally designed not to have chapters. It was meant to be a long stream of narrative. After not thinking it very well, I added Divisions or Chapters. All in all, I hope you find my latest book entertaining or at least memorable.

Preface The New Year came and with it a new completed book. This one was technically done. However, it took me a bit to find enough time to edit the story. Every little project always has room for improvement. Loki is the tenth book in the series. He has no relations to the actual Norse God Loki. Rather, he found the name quite fitting considering his abilities and sensitivities. He is the type of Loki that shows benevolence towards human kind and utter disdain for the Gods. Whenever given a chance, he will say kind words about humanity while the rest of his peers look down upon them. Still, some things cannot be helped. The same way the human looks down on the apes, Loki's brothers and sisters despise their human ancestors. The book only deals with this issue over the top. It is not the main plot of the story. There are a couple of battles here and there, and even a circus scene. Readers love the circus. This is also the first book were I elaborate on the home of the reclusive dragon riders and their princess. If this sounds interesting to you, then I hope you enjoy this reading. IntroductionThe book Loki follows the protagonist's journey home. The war is over and he is feeling bored. He does not know what to do with himself and his time. Throughout this transition progress, he decides to take on a basic escort mission. The troll princess wants to find her long lost sister and it is up to Loki to help her not find her. The Troll Queen is not too keen on the idea of the sisters meeting. So, she asks Loki to pretend to help her. Along their journey, they run into a couple of cookie characters, like a goblin mage, an orc dragon princess and a water elemental. The book opens with Loki's last army battle. Still, this battle has nothing to do with the larger war he was participating in. He only became aware that it was over by the celebration of the local higher beings. It was not everyday that Gods and Demons were celebrating together. A bane upon all existence has finally been destroyed. Finally, Loki will experience true peace, but as with most things it comes with a price. The true price of this peace is going to become obvious by the end of the book.

There comes a time when a reader must turn into a writer. For most of my adolescence, I was reading a large range of books. Most of them focuses on fantasy. One day, I started to grow bored of them. It seemed to me that the entire genre was just repeating itself. It was then when I decided to write my own fantasy book. By then, I had already some experience with writing. I had just finished my long poetry series, and I had a couple of short stories under my belt. It seemed like the right time to jump into a longer project. This was when I conceived my Saturnastra series. I have been working on the series all throughout college. Even though I graduated from Journalism, I still kept up with my fantasy book series. Even tonight, I will be adding more to the 10th book in the series. The front cover I painted it myself. It features my protagonist Marduke sitting on the empty throne of the King. Despite being fantasy, my story has a tad bit of horror elements blended in there. It wasn't my idea to have a horror scene. Rather, I noticed it when I was reading it to my editor. My dear brother asked me, "Why did this turn into a horror movie?" I did not have an answer for him. It just happened. Aside from horror, there are some comic elements. I cannot point them out per say. Rather, I tend to be randomly funny. I only notice when I read some of the scenes out loud, and my brother cannot help but chuckle. This first book sums up my ideas of everything that a fantasy book should have. This includes a dragon, a magic guy, army battles, demons, and a male Sphinx. As for the target age group, there really isn't one. When I write, I do not have a target audience. I only write the type of book that I would enjoy reading. I can at least say that I avoid one particular type of scene that have become so common place in today's fantasy books. Why is the book series called Saturnastra? Saturn is a familiar planet we all know and loved. It was formally a gas giant, till I gave it some magical reworkings. The Astra portion refers to a type of magical weapon. The other aspect of the title is the name of the protagonist. All the books in the series will focus on a different person. From time to time, there will be crossovers between each of the books in the series. Officially, I have 4 books already good to go. I will have them published in the near future. The others still require a bit of editing. As of now, I am working on writing the 10ths book in the series. Overall, there is going to be 14 books. This is assuming that one of the books does not turn into two. As the title suggests, the book is about a fellow named Marduke. Unlike most fantasy characters, Marduke isn't an orphan and he has a long extended family. Even when he gets adopted by a noble lady, he still keeps tabs on his family from time to time. He ends up being constricted into the army. Most of the plot takes place in the capital city of Veragerung. A ruthless monarch has been ruling there for more than 200 years. His race is as ambiguous as his past. The only thing that people there know for certain about the King is that his word is law. The story focuses on the power struggle between Marduke and the King.

This is my second collection of short stories. Like the ones from before, they are based on dreams that I had. The front cover is as thematic as the last one. I hope to give you a general picture as to what to expect of the book. All the people in the front cover are characters that appear in the short story. There are also a couple of animals here and there. They are also protagonists in their own little story. There is about 23 short stories in my book. None of the stories are repeated. The book is a little shorter than the last collection of short stories. Still, I wanted to publish something new. I usually release these collections of short stories between my novel projects. I am almost done with the first series I undertook. The genre for these stories are all over the place. Still, the general theme of this book seems to be science fiction. I have a lot of aliens and robot stories here and there. I also have a couple of fantasy stories here and there. I do hope that you find these stories entertaining.

In the Furies v6, you can see a nice jump in my skills. I worked really hard on this manga volume in specific. I have a lot of nice backgrounds and everything. The Franko battle was a bit of an incoherent mess, but in this one I actually tried a little harder. The basic plot is that Enkiku got Gilgamesh and Kida killed. He wanted Franko to train them, but instead he killed both of them. With the two main characters dead, Enkiku has to bring them back to life. To do this, he goes to the Power Tournament. Before you get a little bit fussy, remember that this manga this volume was done like 15 years ago. It took me a while to find a publisher. Anyhow, in the Power Tournament the winner gets the right to use the Death Scythe. It is an arcane weapon that can bring people back to life. It kills their death in every sense of the word. While in the tournament, Enkiku has to fight his corporate boss Omega. He heard that his doggo was up to something, and being a petty jerk he decided to try to stop him. Omega does not have anything in particular against Gil and Kida. He just doesn't want Enkiku to succeed in anything he tries to accomplish. There just some type of jerk bosses like that out there. Since there is another volume, it is pretty obvious that Enkiku succeeds in bringing Gil and Kida back to life. How he goes about it is the amusing part about this volume. The main highlight battle is a robot vs dragon battle. I hope you find it amusing. This volume elaborates more on what type of crazy folks are the Powers. It is the world where Franko hails from, after all. This volume is also the ending of the first arc, the one where Franko is the main bad guy, kinda. Well, if I was making alignment chart I would say that Franko is chaotic neutral, but his daughter Hymn is chaotic evil.

Chalon is about the 11th book in the series or maybe the 12th. Ahi ended up being two books. This book has its own unique type of gimmick, like the others. I tried to make this book in a way that it takes place all in a day. I read that there was a book that takes place all in a day. I forget the name of it. Chalon explores a day in the life of a character. The Book takes day during the course of one day.The problem was that the book jumped from character to character. Mine focuses only on Chalon. You get a fairly good idea of his entire life story in a day. The book has a couple of horror elements here and there. Aside from a silly jump scare, there is not much to fuzz about as far as scary stuff. Still, I might be wrong about it. I tend to write scary stuff without meaning to. As for Chalon, he works with a traveling troupe of musicians, and actors. From time to time, merchants join his caravan. There is safety in numbers. The book focuses on a typical show day, with practices before the night falls, and other minor errands to run. Along the way, there are problems that arise that Chalon needs to address. Some of those problems even take him into prison. The story takes place in Sassari. It is a city that was lightly touched upon in Melina. In the book Melina, you find out about the palace life. This book covers the happenings of normal folks who are not royalty. I also added some action here and there just for kicks. Folks like violence in their books often. The prison scene is also a bit of a nightmare fuel. At least, my brother seems to think so. As with most of my books, I need to write a pretty long-winded introduction. The book also comes with a second introduction written by a character from a different book of mine. The chapters are each time slots. I move up a chapter, every time a long scene happens. It seemed like a good way to segment the book. All in all, the entire book is just one long scene, with short demarcations. Folks seem to like chapters a lot. It prevents the readers from getting desperate. As of lately, the writing progress has been a lot slow. There is plenty on my mind. If you are reading this, then I must inform you that it was written in the year 2020. The book itself is actually a lot older. Publications take time, and a lot of editing. Usually, the long-winded introductions come later. At the moment, I am struggling to finish the final book in the series, Rimaru. I am also starting to translate the short story book to Spanish. It is important to try out different markets. The English one is sadly not going as well as I would hope. I wonder if English speakers read anymore. I suppose if it is not in video game format, then folks will not bother with it. Even movies and TV shows are going the day of the dodo. The video game industry is just swallowing everything up. This is more a pity for traditional media like books. When I get a chance, I should get around to making audiobooks. I can read my books fine. I usually read books to my sweet mother. She uses up most of her eyes at work. When she gets home, she is rather strained and so I read the books to her. Sometimes, I even read to her book written in English. I do this by translating the books as I read them. It is useful for folks who want to practice translations, without trying to jot things down. Spanish is a complicated language. The main problem is the notation. I need to remember where all the little marks go on the vowels. It is a real pain, and folks are mean to you if you get it wrong.

Preface Lamina is the seventh book in the Saturnastra series. It focuses on the adventures of the protagonist as she tries to defeat an overwhelming power. The creatures she must face are weak to magic. The problem is that there is no strong magic user left in the world. She also lacks the magic talent. Without having any magical skills, Lamina reasons that the best next thing would be to train a new mage from scrap. This is were the shepherd Irving comes in. She notices latent powers on the shepherd boy and decides to try train him. Even if Lamina cannot use magic, she is pretty knowledgeable on the matter. This book covers all the different flavors of magic that are available in Saturnastra, as well as the ever popular necromancy. Of all my books, this one is the most magical. So, if you like magic, I am certain you will find this reading enjoyable. IntroductionAs with all of my books, I tend to get a little gimmicky with the narration style. Just because it is a fantasy book, there is no need to dumb down the writing. Then again, I am not the sort of person to use big words, to sound impressive. As far as the gimmick is concerned, this book is written in "you" style. Very few English books use "you" narration style. It has an interesting effect on the reader. It makes it easier for them to slip into the shoes of Lamina. Speaking of Lamina, I named this maiden after a bone. It is a part of the vertebrae. It seemed like a proper name for a Sphynx. It is not very often that the protagonist is a sphynx. This is not spoiling much, since she acquires the form in chapter 1. As I said before, the book is mainly about magic, and about magical people doing magic things. The magic guy in the story is a shepherd boy that Lamina decides to train. She needs his help because she had no magical powers, even thought, she is well versed in magic. She needs magic to make it easier to defeat her targets.

Preface Chicot is the sixth book in my fantasy series. You can read them whichever way you please. It will not change too much the understanding of the whole. The books are designed to be their own stand alone work. Still, depending on the order you choose, you may miss a few key details. Chicot explains the source of the weapons that were key in the story of Melina. He is a craftsman, and he made tools both for war and for peace. He was mostly known in Saturnastra for his weapons for war. This book is his story. I find that a person who makes a weapon is just as interesting as the guy who wields it. Without skilled weaponsmith, people today would be fighting with clubs. This story also explains in detail how the guild system works. Guilds tend to get put on a pedestal in most fantasy books. They were never painted in their true corrupted colors. Chicot's main issue with them was that apprentices had to work free for a period of time, before getting their Journeyman license. Nobody in their right mind should, ever, ever work for free. IntroductionChicot is another one of my books told from a down to earth perspective. It is a bit of a fantastic biography. The book is told from the perspective of a character within the story. While Melina's story was obtained from numerous interviews, Chicot's story was put together by someone who grew up with him. Jozef paints all the different faces of Chicot. Since he is not a professional biographer type of person, Jozef only tells things as he sees it. As you read the book, you will realize that Jozef is not the most reliable narrator. Unreliable narrators is kind of my thing. Every human has its own biased, and Jozef is not different with that matter. Still, he is not the type of person to downplay Chicot's flaws. As far as flaws are concerned, Chicot has many of them. This is just part of designing a well-rounded type of person. This writing style also helps ground this fantasy story by limiting the point of view. As with most of my books, I have a decent number of battles. The bulk of the story focuses on the civil war occurring in the Kingdom, and how the merchant class tried to deal with the problem.
