Many of us are broken individuals. Going about our daily lives living mindlessly not even realizing how fractured we are. We have covered up our hurt and pains for years and it has become a norm. BROKENNESS means to be forcibly separated into two or more pieces; fractured: a broken arm; broken glass. Sundered by divorce, separation, or desertion of a parent or parents: children from broken homes; a broken marriage, a broken heart, a broken life, a broken mind, body and soul. Unfortunately, at some point in our lives we all must stand in the face of unforeseen circumstances. A few unforeseen circumstances may include domestic violence, rape, narcissistic abuse, verbal, mental and emotional abuse. These devastating circumstances sometimes molds us into broken people. However, you can be set free! You will recover it all says the spirit of the living God if you only believe your faith has made you whole! The enemy of your soul (Satan) roams around the earth like a roaring lion seeking whom he may devour. His job is to kill, steal, and destroy. Brokenness causes a lot of grief, offence, and depression which ultimately causes us to develop a victim's mentality. We are not victims, we are victors! As a matter of fact, the bible states that we are more than conquerors. Romans 8:37 says "Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors and gain an overwhelming victory through him who loved us so much that he died for us." Christ died to give us life and life more abundantly. Can you surrender all your hurt and pain to Jesus? It's not meant for you to bear, it's too heavy for you! I pray that God's spirit moves upon you as you read this book. Did you know that from a biblical perspective brokenness is the stripping of self-reliance and independence from God? The broken person has no confidence in his own righteousness or his own works. He is cast in total dependence upon the grace of God working in and through him. Maybe you are reading this book because you've endured everything that has caused you to give up. Some people succumb to drugs, antidepressants, and alcohol. Others have been bound by sexual promiscuity or failed relationships. Engaging in multiple partners keeps you bound up with spirits of oppression, depression, and sexual transmitted demons. Jesus has come to set you free. If you are going to fulfill your purpose in life you must be free! You have tried everything else. Give him your heart! God is calling you to give your heart to him so he can heal, deliver and set you free. I pray as you read this book that God will begin to transform your inner man through His healing power.
