Their love for humanity made them create humanity in their own image. The book of Genesis accurately records the creation and the beginnings of human history, as well as provides an essential foundation for the remainder of the Biblical revelation. It preserves the love, mercy, and compassion of who God is in our lives. The book of Genesis, most importantly, reveals the prophetic history of redemption and a redeemer as coming through the offspring of a woman (Genesis 3:15). Scripture reveals: 'For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life" (John 3:16) This Scripture reveals the heart of God and purpose of God love which is wide enough to embrace all the people on earth.
