Homeschool Bible Adventures Volume 5 - An Entire Quarter of Curriculum!Jesus often used parables when he taught. In a like manner, this curriculum was developed to do the same, teach through Bible Stories. Each lesson was designed with an ample amount of content so your children can work on them throughout the week. The following Old and New Testament Lessons are included in this quarter, allowing your children (Ages 7-11) exposure to the entire Bible: OT - Lesson 1 - Elijah vs the 450 Prophets of Baal.OT - Lesson 2 - Deborah, the Prophetess.OT - Lesson 3 - Elisha and God's Chariots of Fire.NT - Lesson 4 - The Transfiguration of Jesus.OT - Lesson 5 - In the Beginning...OT - Lesson 6 - The Day the Sun Stood Still.OT - Lesson 7 - The Battle of Jericho - Part 1.OT - Lesson 8 - The Battle of Jericho - Part 2.OT - Lesson 9 - Hezekiah, King of Judah.NT - Lesson 10 - His Name is John.NT - Lesson 11 - A Voice Calling in the Wilderness.NT - Lesson 12 - The Dedication of Baby Jesus.NT - Lesson 13 - The Woman at the Well. Each Lesson contains the following Core Components: 1.) Introduction - This will always be a lead-in to the Bible Story and Lesson.3.) Story Time - This is the story itself.4.) Review Time - Here, we pose 20 questions with enough space for your children's responses. (In Lesson 5, a set of review questions are within the Story Time Component). 5.) Our Big Takeaway - This is where we share our takeaway from the lesson. After reading ours, your children will then write one of their own.6.) Activity Time - Here, you will find Word Searches, Crossword Puzzles, Decoding of Secret Messages... When additional value can be added to a particular lesson, we have done so to enhance your children's learning experience. Just a few suggestions to get the most from this Curriculum: 1.) Work with your children on the Memory Verse throughout the week so they can then recite it perfectly.2.) Depending on how advanced your children are, you may want to have them read the Introduction, the Bible Story Location Verses and the Bible Story themselves to further develop their reading skills.3.) Go over the Review Question with your children to measure how much they learned and to help them understand what they didn't. Answer Keys are provided for all Review Questions and Activities.May Your Young Scholars be Blessed through this Curriculum - Kidz Rock University
