During the summer, Joe and his parents decided to take a vacation to Sedona. They got into their spaceship and flew from the planet Onu, all the way to Earth. Once they arrived, Joe decided to take a ride on his Spike. He lost control and crashed to the ground. He was scared and lost. Just then, three local dogs, Minnie, Loki, and Yogi came along and offered to help him find his mom and dad.They quickly became friends as they searched all over Sedona for Joe's spaceship. During their search they encountered some javelinas, a rattlesnake, and barely avoided going to Dog Jail, when they bumped into the town dog catcher. They went to Slide Rock for a swim and Tlaquepaque for the Day of the Dead festivities. They hopped on a Jeep, encountered a mountain lion, swam at Cathedral Rock, and took a ride in a hot air balloon.By the time they found Joe's family, they'd seen most of Sedona.Joe the Alien: Lost in Sedona, is a coloring-story book, that combines the fun of two activities for children.
