Jonathan's Character acting cats is a Spot the differences book. It is 54 pages long and consists of a series of illustrations showing cats engaged in various poses and activities. There are twenty six cats in all. Each is shown on three illustrations. The first two pictures in a set have five differences between them. The third picture-the solution-is shown on the succeeding page with the differences circled. The spot the differences format is popular with children, especially between the ages of seven and eleven. Jonathan's Character Acting Cats includes whimsical characters. The humor may appeal to children in this age range as well.
