Ten-year old Boaz has a gift. He has instincts and moves of a master warrior, which very quickly get him a lot of attention. The problem is that it's the attention of both the prince of his tribe, Caleb, and the leader of all the tribes of Israel, Joshua, exactly as they start the campaign of conquest of the land of Canaan. Young Boaz gets pulled into the middle of the fighting as his nation of escaped slaves plows its way through a land filled with enemies.
