The Pirate:
With his crazy old grandmother aboard The Falcon, Mardon sets sail with his crew. They are following a clue that will hopefully lead them to where Mardon's late father buried treasure. When they dock at Great Yarmouth, it isn't treasure they find. Instead, a mysterious nun in a tavern helps them decipher a code to finding the treasure. A nun in a tavern isn't an everyday occurrence. Odder still, is that Mardon can't shake the attraction he feels for her, nor the thought that he somehow knows her.

The Lady:
Lady Emmaline de la Croix's reputation has been ruined by her late husband. He insisted on commissioning a naked painting of her that she thought would be private. Instead, half of France has seen it. When their ship is boarded by pirates, her husband is killed, the painting is stolen, and she's kissed by a handsome, rugged and dangerous man named Mardon. When her life is spared, she realizes she needs to track down that painting and destroy it, or live forever in shame.
Disguised as a nun, the pirate ship was easier to find then she imagined. Forgetting the kiss she received from the pirate lord wasn't as easy.
One searches for treasure while the other seeks redemption. Sparks of passion are ignited between a pirate and a lady in forbidden love. What started as a simple kiss now promises - or threatens - to change both of their lives forever.
