She had worked as a CNA and a caretaker at a group home for autistic boys in Georgia. She moved to New York in 1993 to take a job taking care of the elderly in their homes. Hargis feels that learning from the older generation is pretty amazing.Hargis lives in the country with her fiancé of 15 years, three dogs, and four cats. She has one daughter who has graduated college and works in a mental health facility. Clark's hobbies include reading, writing, listening to music, watching tv, traveling, gaming, and going to the casino.
