My Poetic Years - Ann A Guerra - Bog

A festival of poems and colors is a journey that goes beyond the rational, sometimes playing with the irrational. My literary flight went back beyond the borders of different genres and poetic styles. Marginalizing the traditions of the present, past and future, and creating a path that can be seen through the prism and mood existing at the time of inspiration. The mood was changed during the different phases of my life that began from my childhood in Cuba (before the revolution), and then in exile followed by the first Cuban exodus. An evolutionary ideological-philosophical process that manifests itself from the first edition of the book to the transcendent pages of its second edition and that reveal the deep romantic and patriotic sentiment. For this reason, and to conclude, I have taken the license to add xerography's of some art works done on canvas by my son and I, that highlight the singular beauty of the chosen places, and the great nostalgia that gives us when contemplating them.
