Separated from his owner and dumped at the dog pound to die, Alvin's only crime is being old. Old and alone. Completely at the mercy of others, his simple and simplistic existence creates complex and catastrophic situations. Alvin is the metaphorical butterfly who flaps his wings in some forest in Malaysia that causes the devastating tornado in Kansas. Except instead of two wings flapping, it is one tail wagging. It wags a lot. Alvin is an abnormally happy dog. Kansas is doomed.Good intentions make for spectacular disaster in this dark comedy about an insanely old dog and his journey home.
