Bag om Plants on a Sill
In Plants on a Sill: Joy, Izzy the Inchplant, sees her new future in a new planter.
"That planter over there, holds my joy. I know it will be hard to get used to at first, even painful. I may lose a few leaves in the process, clumps of dirt will fall, but the feeling of starting over, and moving into a new space with plenty of room to grow and spread my roots... that is worth it." said Izzy.
Meet the plants that live on the windowsill. These six friends are rooted in truth and bloom in understanding. Each plant has its own personality that shines as they learn and grow together. In Plants on a Sill, each book of the series will explore a fruit of the Spirit. Book two, explores biblical joy. When Izzy sees a new planter, she immediately has to have it. She likes the outward appearance but more importantly, she knows it will change her life forever. Izzy is cramped and unsatisfied, she is unhappy with her growth. She knows it will be painful to change her life and enter into a planter. She's going to lose parts of herself and may even shed a few leaves in the process. However, the pain and effort are worth it. Explore the story of Joy, as Izzy's story is loosely based off of the hidden treasure parable, found in Matthew 13:44. Children can follow along easily with this fun, sweet story of plant friends as they explore the fruits of the Spirit. At the end of each book, there is an opportunity to go deeper into Scripture as it explains what it means to live out the fruits in our lives.
