Bag om Revelation of God in Christ
Let's take a deep dive into the scriptures and learn what the Bible teaches about God and His nature. This is a Biblical based study on who God is. We present who Jesus Christ is and His role in our salvation.
Presenting a strictly biblical approach, let's take a walk together into the scriptures! As Christians, our spiritual walk depends on Jesus Christ and having an accurate knowing of who He is and who He represents. We can't grow into spiritual maturity without knowing God intimately. It takes spending time with Him and learning more about Him.
In this book we will bring forward and hi-light who God is and His attributes biblically. You will learn what the scriptures say about God's attributes, the Angels, Mankind, and Jesus Christ. Not only will you learn this, you will be given the hermeneutical principles of how to study the Bible.
Hermeneutical principles is the widely accepted method for studying the scriptures accurately. All of us can read the scriptures, but it is very easy to be led astray by misinterpreting passages. There are many examples of cults and diverse church organizations to prove this lack of continuity of belief. These key principles help us study and understand biblical passages with a high degree of accuracy. The Bible says, "All scripture is God breathed", but it also says, "...study to show thyself approved". This is referencing that the scriptures must be interpreted properly by the actual meanings of the written words, the intent of the author, context etc. If we forget about these aspects, deception awaits us. Ultimately, it is God's Holy Spirit that teaches us all things, but we must use the tools God gives us so that His Truth would be made manifest in us.
Lastly, we will address the doctrine of the Trinity. Enormously controversial, it is a topic that has been debated hundreds of years. As you read, we will explain what this doctrine is and the serious concerns about this teaching. It was formulated by men that arguably began formally in the 2nd century church with Tertullian first coining the term "trinity". Together, we will take a walk through of this doctrine and explain the disturbing concerns regarding it with a solid refutation of scriptures commonly used by church teachers to support it.
If you are seeking more biblical knowledge and are drawn closer to God, this is a great book and reference for you whether you believe in the trinity, or not!
