The face floated my way. It got closer, and closer, and closer. The fog parted a bit, and two red eyes glowed brighter than car headlights. I swallowed hard...and watched in horror as the red eyes formed into a duck. It was floating in the air without flying. The duck opened its beak and hissed, revealing two fangs as sharp as Mrs. Cassidy's kitchen knives.
