In Religio Medici, Brown delivers many thing rhetorically, many expressions therein merely tropical and they best illustrate his intention. All contained therein is in submission to maturer discernments. Included in this volume is Christian Morals. In this exposition, there is a greater mixture of strange and pedantic words and also a more frequent allusion to events and personages in ancient and medieval history. It contains nothing equal in piety or eloquence as is found in Religio Medici. Also found within this work is Brown's A Letter to a Friend, upon Occasion of the Death of his Intimate Friend.
