Thirty-six-year-old Spencer Highland is generally happy with his lot in life. He's got a great social circle, a job as a voice actor and audiobook narrator (which he loves), and a cat he's pretty sure owns his soul. But, since his last breakup, he's been lonely. Unfortunately, courtesy of his personal hang-ups, putting himself back out there doesn't feel as easy as it sounds on paper.

After an embarrassing encounter, Tony finds himself connecting with Spencer in a way he's never connected with another person before. Tony is also blown away by the idea that his favorite narrator might be at all interested in him, too.
