Therefore, the American settlers had to devise the domestic governments' functionality around protection of the governed, and later devised the union for further protection against the onslaught of enemies. The declaration of the independence (7/4/1776) and the constitution of the United States of America (7/10/1787) were devised to settle dynamic changes and arguments most unseen. Thus, their systems require informed and involved citizenry. Therefore, the injections of human and physical capital and technological knowhow became essential to their sustainability.
