The Four Faces of Patrisha is a novel within a novel, a psychological drama in which, Together with Doctor Gemma Duarte, the reader will be immersed in the dark and intricate labyrinth of the psyche of Patrisha, the mysterious protagonist who is under the psychiatrist's care for what at first sight appears to be a case of suicide provoked by the loss of her husband and children in a car accident. After a series of fruitless sessions, events begin to take place that the trusting doctor hadn' t foreseen: like the existence of a twin sister as yet to be seen; or the discovery of a book whose autobiographical content provides her with startling, yet revealing facts... despite the author's intention. All of this, and much more, will lead the doctor on a continuous search for what is really happening in the mind of the patient who will, at every step, take her down more than one false path.
