His story is about connection to nature and each other – intergenerational relationship between Aggataa and her grandmother.Â
Arctic artists: renowned Inuk storyteller Michael Kusugak's first book illustrated by fellow Inuk artist, Andrew Qappik. The art is an authentic depiction of the Arctic landscape and provides the Inuit names for the birds. Qappick is an Inuit artist who is well-known throughout the Canadian Arctic for his design of the flag, coat of arms and official logo for Nunavut (Canada’s newest province) where he lives.
