Disaster has struck the planet of Tipton; an act of God as it were. Struck by an extinction level event meteor, the planet is knocked out of its natural relationship to its three moons; effectively sterilizing the entire female population. Once they come to realize just what has happened they are forced to turn to the stars, and other star systems, for answers.
