The Young Forester - Zane Grey - Bog

An insanely naive boy has summer free after high school and before college; he volunteers to be a junior forester in Arizona. Here he stumbles upon an illegal sawmill in national forest. There are multiple kidnappings; wildlife encounters; gunshots; whoa, a forest fire!. Our hero saves the day and goes home, remarkably, just as naive as when he arrived.
