Bag om These Dark City Streets
Memory like a faded photograph. Static spread across neurons. Blackness engulfs but the sun still shines. Like a dying plant finally given water, he drinks up his surroundings- trees, buildings, water, clothes on the humans-all black. Confusion spreads like tentacles across fresh prey.Speaking of prey- the ruler of this land, called the thought wind, sniffs out a vulnerable subject and decides it's meal time-as it feeds on people's thoughts. It welcomes the human called Nails to his new home-the dark side. The invisible tyrant explains the rules. Never visit the enemy mainland-the light side. Always wear black and do the opposite of the light side. Be creative and never dull or ordinary.Outside his four walls, the thought wind squats inside Nails' brain relentlessly. He learns that wearing headphones and focusing on the music is the best protectant against the hijacking. However, in order to find information and clues he must subject himself to the brain invasions. And so begins the daily quest to find answers. Why is he here? Why does the thought wind have such disgust for the light side? Why is there a 200-foot Statue giving the other side the middle finger? Desperately seeking answers, he breaks the number one rule and begins visiting the light side. To his shock and surprise, he meets a girl. Can the boy in black and the girl in white find a way to be together? In a world where each side hates the other, and your most private and intimate thoughts are never truly your own?
