Bag om Triple Identity
Michael Williams, an F-117 pilot, is given corrupted target information and bombs the Chinese Embassy in Serbia. Forced to retire from the military, Michael returns to Stamford, earns a PhD and enters the academic world lecturing in comparative religions. To support his lectures, Michael gains fluency in Arabic and Hebrew. A CIA summons to expand on his paper describing Jihad radicalization disrupts Michael's world and turns his talents towards identifying terrorists and identifying al Qaeda targets. An Iman in Yemen names him in a Death Fatwa because his analytical success hobbles the Yemeni Jihad. With a price his head, terrorists attempt to kill him: first by putting a bomb on an airliner in which Michael is a passenger; and then bombing his wife and youngest child riding in Michael's car. It compels Michael to abandon his children and avoid any contact that will lead back to him and jeopardize the children. With a new identity from the CIA, Michael becomes Peter Beresford, a Field Agent, to hunt down those responsible for his losses. Peter absorbs a Tunisian identity and travels to Yemen presenting himself as a Jihadist recruit. Surviving a brutal initiation, Michael offers advice on terrorist plans leading to attending a Jirga Loya led by the Iman. The Iman tasks Peter with killing Michael Williams and asks Peter for advice on horrific terror plots. In his late father's home, Michael Williams finds a second Birth Certificate as Michael te Totapu, registered with the New Zealand Embassy. From the differences Michael has with his father, he knows he is biracial. The embassy identifies his mother, whom he believes died when he was a baby, is a Maori living in New Zealand. He uses the birth certificate to assume a third identity, Michael Totapu, unknown to the CIA or al Qaeda. Michael travels to New Zealand to meet his mother whose iwi, or Maori tribe adopts him. He falls in love with, Rua her adopted daughter.Balancing his identities, Michael continues with CIA anti-terrorist duties as he builds a place to reunite his family. A Turkmenistan Jihadi gang, cooking Methamphetamine to fund their Holy war, kidnap Rua as revenge for Rua sending three Meth dealers to prison. Michael risks his life to rescue Rua, guides a Police Tactical Response Team to kill and capture the Jihadists, and earns recognition of the New Zealand police and government appoint him as Inspector General of Tactical Response Teams. Rua invites Michael's children to their home on New Zealand's West Coast where Michael poses as Michael Totapu, and their father's half brother and their uncle. A gap of five years closes. Michael trains an Australasian Team to compete in the US National SWAT competition. A call-out to another Meth lab interrupts training, this time the lab operators are home-grown Kiwis. His obligation complete, Michael retires from the police and returns to academic life with his adult children making their future in New Zealand.
